Buddy Streeper won the 15.15 mile 10-dog race both days at Grand Rapids, Manitoba. Streeper accumulated a total time of 1:32:02 over the two days, edging his uncle, Fast Eddy Streeper, by 57 seconds. Buddy won $3500 in cash, and broke the long standing track record, held by Eddy Streeper, by 8 seconds.Kevin Cook placed third with a total time of 1:35.04 followed by Dave Hochman and Amy Streeper, rounding out the top five.Amy Streeper won the 6-dog event, and broke the track record by almost a 90 seconds.This race is a major racing event in the region, and has been a well attended race with a field of 20 in the 10-dog event, and 26 6-dog teams
