The Haliburton Highlands Dogsled Derby begins today. Open & Purebred teams will be competing for IFSS and/or ISDRA points. Haliburton Village looks forward to welcoming dog drivers from across Canada & the USA. With a minimum $10,000 the competition should be good. The Haliburton Highlands is a beautiful rugged part of the Canadian Shield, located on the Southwest corner of Algonquin Park, a land of lakes and wilderness.
