Jeff King of Denali Park won the Kobuk 440 sled dog race early this morning in Kotzebue.The race, which began April 11 in Kotzebue, is run entirely above the Arctic Circle and is notorious for its wildly unpredictable weather. The course winds through the Northwest Alaska communities of Noorvik, Kiana, Selawik, Ambler, Shungnak and Kobuk.
