Dogs Pull Together on Staten Island

Don't look yet, but a truncated, Staten Island version of the famed Iditarod race -- the one that sees teams of dogs race, pulling sleds over more than 1,000 miles between Anchorage and Nome in Alaska -- may be on the horizon.Far from that cold-weather state, a group of Siberian huskies and related canines bred for snowy conditions, has come together near the southernmost point in New York state and formed a play group, of sorts.Read more here:
