(Sunday, January 31, 2016)Dan Carter, Race Director of the EUKANUBA Stage Stop Race and the Pedigree® 8-Dog Classic Race, announced today’s winners of the Alpine, Wyoming stage.Winning today’s 60 mile second stage of the EUKANUBA Stage Stop Race is Buddy Streeper with an elapsed time of 4:14:08, followed by Alex Stegmann, Jeff Conn, Bruce Magnusson, and Gerry Willomitzer in the top 5 positions. JR Anderson placed sixth, Jerry Bath seventh followed by Al Borak, Dennis Laboda, Emilie Entrikin, Jerry Scordis, Austin Forney, and Chris Adkins.Today’s Pedigree® 8-Dog Classic Race was 25 miles. Jenny Greger finished in first place with a total elapsed time of 1:56:17, followed closely by Dave Turner. Alix Crittenden, Elizabeth Stewart, and Thad McCracken rounded out the top five positions followed by Spencer Bruggeman, Laura Daugereau, Gabrial Dunham, Amanda Bartlett, Jane Devlin, and April Cox. Dan Carter announced the winners of this year’s Pedigree® 8-Dog Classic Race. Dave Turner won first with a Cumulative Overall Time of 4:50:05. Alix Crittenden placed second with 4:56:30, and Elizabeth Stewart placed third with 5:00:37 followed by Jenny Greger 5:01:55, Thad McCracken 5:25:53, Spencer Bruggeman 5:51:24, Laura Daugereau 6:24:17, Gabrial Dunham 7:04:32, Amanda Bartlett 8:03:31, Jane Devlin 8:08:45 and April Cox 9:28:54. Awards and checks were distributed after the race. Total payout for the 8-Dog race is $10,000. The race continues Tuesday, February 2nd in Lander, Wyoming — Stage Four.Wednesday February 3 — Pinedale, Wyoming — Stage Five.
